Hi,

I have Antec True Power 430 watts and I have the following components attached:

1 hard drive, 1 dvd burner, about 6 fans, BFG 6800 Ultra. Once I try to attach another hard drive or another cd-rom. It power on but screen is all black. When I have regular these components attached. Computer has never crashed and can play games forever and never crashes. My processor is overclocked to 3.4 ghz. Is it because I don't have enough power from my power supply? What would you recommend to go with if it the psu problem?

You might want to use a voltmeter and get some real readings just to see what component is pulling how much power. I have one system using that PSU with a lot more stuff hung on it with no issues.

If only that one additional unit is causing you not to boot you just may be out of headroom on your PSU, or something is pulling way too much power.

What are your specs? What kind of video card you have? I know that 6800ultra requires to have 480 watts power supply. Its stable and everything until i add another drive.

IF you already know this, then why on earth did you post in the first place?

You think there will be any difference in having either antec true550 and pcp&c turbcool 510 ATX-Deluxe. Is it worth the difference if I pay $111 for antec and about $220 for pcp&c?
