Antec TP2.0 550 DOA?

Hi all, I was ecited as ever to get my new PSU installed today (the Antec TruePower 2.0 550) and see if it solved any of my stability problems from my slowly dieing old Antec. But I go to install it, get it all hooked up and everthing. Then I hit the switch on the back of the PSU and the lights blurp for a split second like they always have. Then I push power on the front of my case and all I get is dimmed lights for about 1 second, and then nothing. After that I can hit the power a million times and the lights won't even dim. Fans dont even twitch (case fans or PSU)

So I think It might be my wiring and I start unplugging high draw components like HDDs 1st, then CD roms then case fans and still not even a burp of power comes out of it.

So whats the general concensus on this? I have not put my old PSU back in yet, and do not have another PC to test this one in unless a buddy of mine is feeling very very generous. Does this sound like a DOA case?
