I was going to wait a day but I've seen enough. lol
Price: $119 Cdn ($89 would be more like it IMHO)
Build: could be better. Weighs around the same as my TP 480 give a few grams -/+.
The Good:
It didn't blow up when I turned it on.
Very quiet and doesn't get near as hot as my TP 480.
5/3.3/12v rails all within -/+3%. Fluctuate a bit constantly but usually at 4.92/3.26/11.84v
Runs my 4 sticks ddr400 dual chan which my TP480 can't do without bluescreening.
The Unknown:
4 pin molex x 6: looks like maybe 3 on one rail with a pci-e, and 3 on another with floppy and maybe another connector of some kind (I don't remember, didn't pay that much attention ;p). So possibly they've distributed all the power nicely over the rails. Can't tell by the wiring though (we'll get to that).
The not so good:
vcore spikes a fair bit. 1.39 low to a high of 1.47 on a a64 1.4v cpu. (could just be the asus board and I'm going by pcprobe so who knows really but it's something to consider) Mostly though it's at 1.41/1.42v (PS: no multimeter 'cept an old analogue that sends voltage feedback and not meant for delicate electronics)
The Bad:
Cables... ieeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee what a mess with only the power being sleeved.
Hopefully we'll see a professional review soon (please, before next thursday so I can return it if it really is a dud).
