Hello, My "trusty" NeoHe took a shit on me tonight. This is the 3rd out of 3 I've built w/ all but one ran fine at first, on overclocked systems. I am pretty much pissed at antec, so Is there anyway I could return it and purchase something else? Hiper, Liberty, I would like to have it modular. Also, I just spent 2hours cable managing my case, and I had to cut every zip-tie but one. I am pissed. Any suggestions?

haha, I know, I know. It's what I get for trusting a shoddy PSU. I just hoped the first batch was bad, the NeoPower was a great PSU. I think I might just get an s12 and sleeve it.
 
I've had it with Antec PSUs, I am never, ever, ever buying another one, of any grade, or price.

My last Truepower burned up and took a bunch of hardware out with it, and no, it wasn't overloaded, and it was less than two years old, and I turn these things off when I'm not home.

Also, I do mean BURNED UP. :mad:

I recall a day when you could buy an Antec PSU and feel safe; now they're virtually as bad as cheapie-no-names, and they do about the same to your hardware.
 
a friend lost his file server at work yesterday. it was BSODing with a msg about the promise raid card drivers. after some tourbleshooting he found either taking out the adaptec scsi card that was also in the system or using a new PSU solved the problem. apparently the truepower 550 couldn't handle the 2 cards and a few hard drives, and was starting to flake out :rolleyes:
