Hi all..
I have an Antec SP-500 Smart Power 2.0 PSU. Here are the stats for the PSU.
http://www.antec.com/specs/SP500_spe.html
Do you think I would have any issues using it to run this?
ATI X1900XTX
AMD X2 4200+ (overclocked to 2.7Ghz at 1.5 volts)
2 SATA Hard Drives
2 120MM LED Fans (runs of motherboard headers)
Zalman CNPS7700-Cu CPU fan (runs of motherboard headers)
DVD/RW (Dual layer)
I went to the eXtreme PSU calculator...and it tells me 595 Watts is recommended. Although I'm unsure of one of the fields, PSU Utilization, which is at 100%.
I'm thinking I need 600 watts...but if I lower the PSU Utilization, the recommeded goes down. Does the PSU Utilization always remain at 100% for normal PSU use? I also noticed that CPU Utilization is set for 100% also...the receommeded also goes down when that drops.
Thanks for any help...
Bob
