How is this case? I am planning on getting the amb (amber) version of this case. I've read great reviews of this case. But i have concerns about the heat and cooling. Some people have said the antec lanboy which is almost an exact replica of this case has problems with heat.

The 3700 has a few things that give it a leg up over the Lanboy (I have one and pretty much hate it- a Lanboy that is) most notably the larger 120mm fan in the back (I also think that it can use 92mm too) giving it better exhaust. If I had to choose between the 3700 and the Lanboy then I'd grab the 3700 and run like my life depended on it. :D lol

Another thing is that you don't have to use the crappy drive rails.
Right now I'm in the process of modding my Lanboy to look like a 3700. ;)

get the slk3700bqe. you'll thank yourself later. very good cooling when you add another 120mm up front. its also pretty quiet.

Its a great case, but you'll want to do one thing right off the bat. Cut out the restrictive fan grill in the back. Once you do that, you're good to go! Great airflow, superb design, and pretty sweet-looking in my opinion.

Good luck!

Can you tell me what displeases you about the lanboy? The case looks great in the pictures.

AMB is not Amber, btw. They say it is metallic bronze. It looks pretty gray to me sitting here next to my leg, though.

It is a solid quiet case with good build quality for the price. The fact that it uses 120mm fans to cool instead of 80s is a good feature also. The drive rail system works well, there are plenty of bays, and the case looks more expensive than it is. The paintjob was surprsingly good, also. I was quite impressed and have recommended it to friends. It is $64 with free shipping at NewEgg right now.

I agree with the comment about cutting out the fan grille in the back because it greatly restricts airflow. I also believe I would have gotten the black version had it been out when I bought the case.

The included power supply is better than most PSUs that come included with cases, but is from Antec's cheaper line, the Smart Power, as opposed to the True Power.
