Antec Skeleton vs HAF932

Well, I'm a caseaholic. My wife wants to buy me an anniversary present -- and naturally computer parts are an easy choice for me.

My two choices are an Antec Skeleton, or an HAF932. Two completely different beasts. I havn't seen anyone on the forums that has a Skelly, but a few 932's. Has the Skeleton hit Fry's yet? Would like to actually see one -- or at least good pictures of actual people that have one built.

Get a Dimas bench if you have to have a bench table, otherwise the HAF.

Exactly. Skelly is a bit odd looking, would make good conversation when people come over. The HAF..well, it's a good looking case to me. The wifey is keen enough to not let me get both though!

think of what your goals are for this build and then I'm sure your gut will have you leaning in one direction or the other...

whichever you choose, enjoy!

I really like them both... the CM HAF is a great case all around. I really think the Skeleton would be awesome with some custom fit acrylic panels to keep the dust out, and some strategically place LEDs The Skeleton definitely has a different and unique flavor to it, and offers a good potential to a modder... so that's the one I'd go with personally.

Now if I had to choose a new case for myself for around those prices... I'm going with this.

From the 2 you named... get the Skelly... you'll like it

The Skeleton is interesting, but it seems a bit cramped to me. I'd personally go with the HAF for the superior cooling, and much easier installation and maintenance. Considering the size of the thing, it'll be pretty easy to work in.

HAF by far. Never quite understood whats so fascinating about this Antec Skeleton case.
You could easily make an open-air case like that yourself lol.

The HAF is probably the most thoughtful case I've used so far; it just has options galore. I just wish they made a silver one.

I just put together a new system with the HAF and love it but.... I vote for the skeleton just for sheer novelty ! If I had a few more inches of room on my desk I may have went that route myself.

Antec Skeleton. I dont like the look of the external ridges on the HAF932.

If I didn't do product reviews and change heatsinks like I do socks I wouldn't be very interested in it though.
