Antec PSU RMA Nonexistant?

Hey guys, was curious about experiences people had had regarding RMAing their Antec PSUs recently. I submitted a ticket on the 3rd of December, and aside from the automated confirmation I have heard nothing back from them. Further emails and comments just queue up in their web based system to receive no response.

To explain what happened from the beginning, I had previously noted a slight electronic burning smell associated with turning on my system for the past few weeks previous, however thought nothing of it until I switched it on recently.

Upon hitting the power button, a spark shot out of the rear of the machine (though the PSU exhaust). Despite this, the machine continued booting. I quickly powered it off and removed the power supply to test - surely enough, even with nothing connected, flicking the power switch produced a repeatable spark within the power supply that was blown out of the exhaust (not the normal little spark sometimes associated with plugging a power cable in). I have ensured it is as free of dust as possible (whilst maintaining the warranty sticker) and can confirm it has had an easy life in the bottom of an Antec P182 (so it is not sucking in warm air).

I take it this isn't the sort of service the [H] expects from Antec given their "Recommended" status around the forums? Are there any escalation points that people have dealt with in the past they could pass on, or really any tips you may have regarding getting Antec to actually acknowledge an RMA? I must admit I feel pretty let down by the experience given I've dealt with them previously about a few cases I purchased from them and they've been great.

It takes a while (took me maybe 2 weeks after the automated reply), But once they respond its quick and painless.
Also I got an upgrade the newest and latest version of the psu, and from the looks of it, it was not a refurbished model.

Also my old psu was used in my sister's computer, and when it failed I could smell the crisp burnt aroma around the psu.

So, an update. Antec got back to me, saying I should talk to the Australian distributer (for future reference, this is Altech (http://www.altech.com.au). Sent them an email, they shot me straight back to the retailer I had already talked to who advised me to talk to Antec in the first place . Am awaiting a response from their distributer now.
