BTW, title should be p180, i just missed the 8 and hit the 9 lol

I do not know a whole lot about power supplies. I think i have settled on the Antec p180. I will be running an 8800gtx, e6600, 2 gigs of ram, one 250 gig hard drive for now. Do you think 600-650 watts is enough.

And with the p180 do you guys recommend i get a modular PS. The cables also have to be a little longer. I did some reading on here and it seems a lot of people recommend SeaSonic or Silverstone. Are the cables going to be long enough and would modular benefit me?
 
Now im not positive but will a 8800gtx even fit in the p180?

But about the watts thing, its not really the watts u need to look at, its how many amps are on each rail, casue a PSU could have like 700w's but if it doesnt have the right amps on the right rails its not going to do you any good.

On modular, i have been thinking about it also becasue it seems to make it eaiser to manage in the case, but also I've read that the modular only creates more places for you to lose power, with incomplete connections, and also just seems to add that much more hazzard.

p180 will fit 8800gtx.

Gavin is mostly correct: The only point is Modular psu's may have a bit of extra resistance, but not enough to lose sleep over. It's so small, that you could pretty much say it doesn't exist. Same for a failure point.

It's all marketting by PCP&C.

In that case i might have to rethink my approch with it, cause it would make cable managment soo much easier.
