i have an Antec P190 case and i want to put in a different power supply

i want to get rid of the two antec psu's that are in there and just go with one good single unit
does anyone have any recommendations that they have experience with (not necessarily for this case but just in general)?

not sure what happened to the [H] recommendation thread for power supplies but its gone

if i go to a single psu there would be a big hole in the case and im wondering if
anyone makes a plate for covering psu holes? it could either be plastic or thin aluminum
or worse comes to worse i could just leave one of the units in there.

thanks for any help you can give!

You could get something like this, it comes with the older stackers, or perhaps this

I also have the same case and am wondering why you would want to use a Different PSU setup, the neopower 1200W works great and has been tested to be highly efficient and able to support pretty much any setup you could put inside the case :)

as for the cover plate, i would say you would need to make your own or do as you said and leave one of the PSU's in the empty slot, or if you dont care (im guessing you do though) leave it open, it can only improve the airflow to the Hard disks in the bottom front of the case

making one is pretty simple though all you need is a flat sheet of steel or alum. and a drill, dremel etc pretty straightforward and you could put a fan mount in it as well

if your not up to that sort of thing you could call a local machine shop and have it made to your specs if you want to spend the money
