1 -- 120mm radiator and fan
Rad box

Would you mount the radiator:

1. On the back using the rad box. If so, would you:
A -- Remove the rear exhaust fan on the P180 and just use one 120mm fan for the rad.
OR
B -- Use a push-pull setup with the exhaust fan inside the case blowing out and another 120mm fan sucking air thorugh the rad from the other side

2. Inside the case on the rear exhaust fan in a push configuration.

3. Inside the case, mounted flush against the top exhaust vent with a fan mounted below it in a pull configuration.

I cut a hole in the top of my P180 and mounted my rad on the top with the 2 120mm fans sucking down into the case through the rad.

Do you already have the radiator? I would place it in each place and try to see which one makes it easiest to route the tubing.

Erasmus354,

Yes, I do have the radiator. I'm just looking for opinions from someone else who has this case. For maximum cooling, you would want the radiator outside, but the rear case fan has me puzzled. I've seen some that have the exhaust fan removed and some with it still on. However, I've never seen one with the exhaust fan blowing out and another fan mounted on the other side of the radiator in a pull configuration.

If the radiator is mounted on the top, what problems am I going to run into when filling or draining the system?

Well I have the case, I have the radiator mounted in the front of the case. I removed the 3.5" bay and the bottom 5.5" bay.

I wouldn't be too worried about using the warmer case air on your radiator. When your watercooling you are removing most of the heat from the case. So the case air shouldn't be too much hotter than outside air.
