Antec P180 case clerance for fan controller

i want to buy a fan controller but seeing how the case has a front panel that closes i cant quite figure out what will fit the case without the panel being in the way.

if you guys have a fan controller in your p180, which one do you have?

i believe with this one i can control my zalman CPU coller, 9500, http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835118004

it has just one 3 pin connector which i have plugged into my motherboard, if i unplug it then the mobo wont recognize its there, i believe i saw somewhere that zalman controller comes with the connection to avoid that and plaug straight into the controller. or i am wrong
 
I have the p180 and the first Zalman fan controller. It fits easily.
 
There's quite a bit of space between the door and the front of the drives. Pretty much ANY fan controller will fit, even one with knobs and switches that stick out.
 
I would say you have a good 3/4" between the front panel and the face plates. I have a Scythe Kaze Master and I still have about 1/4" left before they would hit the front door.
 
this one fits perfect... the leds are bright but when you have the door closed you really only see abit of light coming out the side.
