I'm considering buying this one, but I wonder if it'll look really dumb with beige rom-drives bc the case is aluminum silver.

Any thoughts?

Yeah, I have this case - don't worry about it. The case comes with two cd rom bezels in it already. You should be fine.

I've also got an Inwin Q500N and a Lian-Li PCV2000B. All great cases in differint ways, but the swap of my main box to the Lian-Li case from the Inwin dropped my case/cpu temps about 40F. (AMD 2400XP - Antec TruePower 430 - Soyo Dragon 333 Ultra Platinum - 3 x 512DDR2100 - WD 60GB - 6 x WD 250GB (raid 5) - Promise FastTrack SX6000 w/128 MB - ATI 9800pro 128mb - SB Live 5.1 - Adaptec Firewire PCI - Pioneer DVR106 DVD+/-RW - Samsung SM352 DVD/CDRW)

Cool, I have the Inwin Q500 as well as a matter of fact. It's a tad big for my liking, when I bought it 2-3 yrs ago I thought bigger = better. The P160 looks beautiful, I saw one in a store today for about $155 CAD, I think I'm gonna get it.

Dude, i have the P160, you will love this case...truly beautiful and well thought out case...it does have a few problems though, ie. the dust screen doesnt work too well, and dust is always getting in my CPU heat sink, which i have to clean out occasionally. Also dust gets in to the litte perforations around the edges and bulids up on the inside...but thats really trivial compared to all the great things this case offers...my CPU and Video card dropped like 20 degrees with the new case, excelent airflow. highly reccomended

Check out the Lian-Li PCV2000B - it costs a little more, but it's the kind of case you are going to want to use for a long long time. I've owned alot of cases over the years - and built plenty for friends, family, and clients. The Lian-Li PCV1000/2000's are pretty much the best designed cases I have ever seen. Lightweight but still well built, they didn't miss anything on this case.

I bought this case a few weeks ago and ive been totaly happy with it. I had some probs with one of the thermal sensors cus it died after a few days which kidna sucked but overall i love the case. I put up a review of it on my site if u want to read: www.beyondoc.com

Nice review Dika. I think I'm going to pick up this case tonight if everything goes as planned. I'm sure the full tower Lian-Li is a beauty, but I can't find any stores near me that sell it, and I'm sure it will be out of my price range.

Thanks for you opinions guys.

i just got the case and im just debating where to put temp sensors... any suggestions?

and here a piccies!

Be very careful with the thermal diodes. Like I mentioned above one of the sensors died so I left it haning inside my case and one day it started to burn! Yes it really started to burn. It just happened that day I had my case and I was able to turn the comp off and remove the diode but it was too late, it had burnt out the LED display :( Now i gota buy or RMA the swivel panel. Its 20$ US

i have one sitting here. just been to lazy to do all the work on it I need to before I transfer my rig over.

Side fan/window mod, add additional 120mm on other side of HD's, add top blow hole, and dynamat my whole rig like I always do.
(No it does not make it any hotter if you have good ventilation, my current case antec 1040 has been totally covered on the inside with dynamat and my cpu on AIR does not get over 40 when it isnt coated in dust...oh and the system is damy quiet.)

I have a question about this case: If I only want to use one CD drive, do they include another blank 5.25 cover, or do I get 2 stealth drive covers and 2 blank covers?

where the hell do i put em?

I have put one under the display card's fan and the other in the Northbridge Heatsink. I get idle temps of 45C and 35C respectively. The display card is an ASUS Geforce 4 - 4200 Ti AGP 8X.

What do you use to install the front 120mm fan into the four mounting holes?

they have these silly rubber things to keep the noise down...they work, but dont pull too hard when you are putting them in

No kidding. Had to call Antec and order replacements after I cut them too short. I got 12 just in case.

This case seems to have everything I need, but I've heard there is a few issues with lack of space? Can the Fans be controlled, or a fan controller be added? Also can the cables and wires be places away from fans and kept clean?

do you mean space for hard drives and things like that or wires? This case has all the space you will ever need for components i think. The fans cant be controlled by the case but im sure you could just install one of thoes fan controller things in the CD-ROM trays.
