Hey All,
I'm still in the planning process for my new upcoming PC, but after looking around I came to the decision to get the P160 (not bought yet). I liked this case for the looks, the easy access usb ports in the top of the case and even the temperature sensors built-in. Also, this case is known for it's great air flow. The only thing going against this case I think, is really that the lowest price you can get it at is roughly $100 w/o PSU.
The idea of my build was to overclock a 3200+ Venice core to decently high speeds (putting an XP-120 on it), and I'm getting some Mad Dog Yate Loon fans for the case and going on the cpu heatsink. I'm trying to maintain a quiet pc as this will be in my dorm room and I would like to be able to sleep without that thing driving me nuts (I understand a lot of people have different tolerances, I'm just looking for a quiet pc, not completely silent just quiet).
I was told that although the case can make a difference just focus on the parts that make noise in the PC and make those quiet. I think I have do so with getting the Yate Loons (will control with a fan controller), a Seasonic S12 PSU and also a a Samsung Spinpoint and I'll be replacing my GPU heatsink with a Artic Cooler Silencer for ATI.
But anyways, I'm just looking for some input on the P160 (I did see the P180 was going to be coming out, but that must be more expensive then the 160 and I don't like the looks of it as much).
If people can post pics of their P160 setup I'd be more then happy. Love seeing this case in action. If someone thinks they can suggest a better case, I'm all ears.
