I just got the antec overture II, and its not as quiet as I thought it would be. Its as loud as a cell phone on vibrate. Most of the noise seems to be coming from the power supply, which is a smart power 2.0. Theres a blue wire that looks like a CPU fan plug coming from the power supply, which if I hook up, the noise gets twice as loud. Even with the wire pulled out, airflow seems good, I'm about 3 feet away from the box and can feel a draft. Is this all normal noise level?

Sounds like you may have a bad PSU. Try testing it out.

I have the Antec Rev 1. It's quiet as can be, but it has a lower power PSU in it. it's also hot as a microwave.

That wire is to monitor the fan speed of the PSU. What speed does the mobo report? I have the original Overture and it's the worst case I've ever owned. I don't use it anymore. The PSU fan always ran at around 1800RPM if I recall. The whole case was just garbage though, no air flow so it was like an oven inside, and it was loud as hell with only the PSU, CPU and Case fans going. I took all the PCI slot covers off to help airflow but it didn't do jack.
