ive never purchased a psu but am going to very very soon, is this antec the best bet for me or should i get a diff brand?-http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProductDesc.asp?description=17-103-909&depa=0

I have the True Power 430w and I'm loving it! Great PSU very quiet as well.

Antecs are def. one of the best power supplys. You sure you need 480W though?

i need a psu with at least 5 or 6 4 pin connectors on it, because i plan on hooking up like 2 fans

They have 3 connectors specifically for fans. You could also get one that is built into the molex connector.

My Antec True Power 430w has 7 4-pin molex connectors and 2 fan only connectors. You can daisy chain your fans and things like that.

How accurate is that PSU assessmentizer thing mo bobber ;)

Not too accurate it seems. It tells me I need 439 watts to run the second system in my sig. My powersupply is a 430 watt Antec TruePower and I've never had any problems.

In fact when my whole system is cranked up running a game, I've got 2 monitors on and my Firewire HDD on, I'm barely breaking 400watt draw from my APC UPS.

aight ill probably go with the truepower 430w if it has 7 4pin molex because i really dont feel like "daisy chaining" anything and i need all the extra plug ins i can get cause ill be adding a hd, radeon 9800 pro, audigy 2 zs, fans, psu, etc

Dude thats only like 1/8 or less of a setup as what alot of people including myself run on these Antec 430w PSU's. Just daisy chain most of the stuff or buy two way splitters and stuff like that. Just dont max out one line with alot of hard drives and a video card.
