Antec Mini P180 Fan Question

Moving one of my computers to an Antec Mini P180 shortly and have a question about fan placement.

I will have one (1) 120mm Nexus D12SL-12 fan in front in the bottom quadrant (intake). Obviously, the big 200mm on top (exhaust). Scythe SY1225SL12M-P 120mm PWM fan on a CM Hyper 212+.

My questions:

1. Is a rear exhaust fan recommended? It seems that I could just orient the Scythe PWM fan on the 212+ to direct air to the back or to the top 200mm fan. Similar to the TJ08-E where I don't use an exhaust fan, I just have the fan on the CPU cooler exhausting to the back. It's so close to the back that an exhaust fan seems like overkill.

2. If an exhaust fan is not recommended, then is it better to direct the heat from the 212+ to the top 200mm fan or to the rear where it can exhaust out the back.

Thanks, Bill

1) How many fans you need depends on your heat output. For instance, put an E-350 in there using IGP and you can probably disconnect all case fans. Put a 980X hardcore overclocked on air plus two GTX 590 in quad SLI in there and you'll need all the fans you can shove in there. It might help to know what CPU/GPU you are running.

2) I would direct it towards the top fan in this instance.

No overclocking. Son plays some steam games on it, so that's the hottest it gets.

It is currently housed in a SG05 with a Gentle Typhoon 1450 in front and the same Scythe PWM fan on a Prolimatech Samuel 17.

Picked up one of the white Mini P180's from as I will be building a new system once Ivy Bridge comes out as I like to upgrade totally every two years or so and did not want to use the SG05 for the next build.

System:

Antec Mini P180
Windows 7
Gigabyte GA-H55N-USB3 (mITX)
Intel Core i3 550
CM Hyper 212+ (w/ Scythe SY1225SL12M-P 120mm)
G.Skill 4GB (2x2GB) DDR3 1333 (F3-10666CL8D-4GBHK)
Intel X25M-80GB
WD Caviar Blue WD6401AAKS 640GB SATA
EVGA GeForce GTX 460 768MB
Sony 24x

Temp's have never gotten out of line in the SG05.
