Antec Kuhler 920 / chill control problem

Hi, im having a small issue with chill control with my kuhler 920 watercooling.....
I have setup the profiles etc to how I want them to act at what temps of the liquid.
to start with, whatever profile I use (extreme, silent or custom) sometimes the fans get turned down to around 500rpm without me doing anything, and they get stuck there until I choose another profile or click another and go back to the one I was on.....
This is bad, because no matter what the temps are, the fans stay at 500rpm! or so, so if I have a game or something on, then my cpu temp goes way up and the fans wont go up with the liquid /cpu temp!
the fans work fine to start with, and go up with temps as they should, so they CAN be controlled upto full speed, so its not a bios thingy not letting it control the fans or anything like that....
Good job I had noticed this happening because the fans go quiet and spin so slowly its noticeable.

I assume its a problem with the antec chill control software? ive tried re-installing the prob, but its still the same.
everything is plugged in fine etc to do with the cooling setup, so I don't know whats causing it.

Anyone have any experience with this or know a solution?

The chill control software makes changes to the onboard firmware of the cooler, so the chill control software doesent actually have to run. Try testing the fan ramp with the application closed?

Have you tried resetting the on-board firmware once the software is installed? This can be done by the fly out menu in the task-bar area. Reset to factory settings or something along those lines...

If I were you I'd just plug the radiator fan into the motherboard, let it handle RPM based on temperature...
