Antec ISK 110 VESA question

I really want to build a Mini-ITX system and was really liking the Antec ISK 110 VESA case until I learned it lacks USB 3.0 ports on it. I really want USB 3.0 ports on any new case I'd purchase. So my question is, is it possible (easy) to remove the standard USB ports that come with this case and install USB 3.0 ports? If so, where can I buy the 3.0 cables that would be installed?

You could use something like this..

and use just the cable harness from either one.
the biostar usb bracket looks to be spaced farther apart than the syba bracket. and the biostar one looks to be spaced the correct distance for that case.

Having worked with this case before I'd have to recommend sticking with the USB 3.0 ports on the back panel of the board you're using. Unless, of course you feel like building an adapter to fit in place of the front 4 ports (2x 2.0 + 2x 3.0). Could be done, but it'd be a tight fit. How many 3.0 ports are on the board you're using? Also, how many do you intend to use? I have 4 on my current board and I have a whole 2 usb 3.0 devices I actually use .

Also, consider this, if you're mounting it to the back of a monitor, 'back' and 'front' kinda lose meaning. Food for thought

if your motherboard has rear 3.0 ports you could just use those...not like with a tower where you have to reach all the way around the case

I didn't even think about him being able to just use the USB 3.0 ports on the mobo he's using, that's a good idea also.. (hadn't had my coffee yet when i first posted)

No, no, you had the right idea although I do hear redivulpis since he has actually used this particular case. I understand his points completely but I do want/did want the actual front USB ports to be USB 3.0. I didn't plan to have this mounted on the back of a monitor, I had planned on setting it on my desk jam packed with goodies as "a little computer that could" type of thing (minus a vid card of course). I have USB 3.0 flash drives that I just wanted to reach over and plug in, into the front...lol. Without this possibility this case just became disqualified.

It's just the tiniest case I've seen that almost met my needs.

Yup, those tiny itx cases are cool.... wish they had them back in the early 90's
The mobo will definitely have usb 2.0 headers also,, might as well use them too,, best to have as much extra USB real estate as possible these days.
