I've had an Antec slk2600amb case for about a year. The flimsy plastic front door hinge broke off, so I emailed Antec for a replacement. They say I can't replace just the door  and that I have to replace the whole front panel which they will be happy to send me for $20 plus shipping. That's over 1/3 of the price of the case just for a stupid door hinge!

It's staying "doorless" for now (unless I can figure out how to seamlessly fix it).

Epoxy might work, it's just that it has to swivel.

I know what mean. I read several reviews and user comments that said this was a quality case, so I thought I was safe. oh well.

...at least the parts are available. Twenty clams seems within reason to me.....

Replacement parts allways cost more, its a fact of life. I remember reading a special, where a news agency compared the price of a new car to the price of purchaceing all the parts in the enitre car from a dealership. Needless to say buying a 20K car piece by piece cost something like 80K.

I have one of those (check my worklog for what I'm doing with it :D) and that damn door broke after a month of two. They told me that it'll cost me $15 for a new frame, suffice to say I never got the replacement.

depending on how it's broke, you can use that epoxy that's made for plastic...that shit holds plastic real good!

That, or just use the leftover "frame" and some fiberglass/bondo and make your own front.

I will agree that Antec could have done a lot better with the flimsy front plastic facing...I have the 3700AMB and have been lucky so far that mine hasn't broke...
