Antec Fusion Remote Max Problems

I got this case courtesy of Santa but I'm hitting a bit of an issue here. The case has two ways to power on, each with its own 2-pin header for the motherboard.
The first header/option: Press power button and it turns on.
The second header/option: Press power button on remote (aimed at IR receiver on front bezel) and it turns on.

I personally haven't figured out a method for both to work concurrently though with only one of the headers in use. I don't think this will work default as I wish it to.

I wanted to know what people here think. Am I missing something and it actually does work like this and I have it hooked up wrong? Or am I correct in the dual option and there is no default method to make this work. If the later is the case should I try splicing the wires into one of the headers and try?

Thanks in advance

Hi
I've got one of these too, Just encountered same problem, I noticed two spare pins on the back of the display panel and this got me wondering. Then in with the install disc I found an addition to the instructions, all be it still slightly unclear it looks like the black and white from the switch goes to the 2 pins on the diplay and then the red and black goes to the mother board.
On a diffrent note do you have a wire labeled HDD LED?
Cheers

The manual sucks. I'm assuming you're referring to the HHD and PWR leds in the instructions that aren't actually on the case, which makes me laugh. Apparently they just overlooked that and left it in the directions...

I'll have to look at the LCD when I get home tonight. I already had to mess with/dismantle the front panel and pull the wires off the switch to fix the main power button so I still have to solder those back on tonight... yeesh.

I'll let you know what I find. It doesn't make sense they wouldn't just connect that header but who knows...

I have this case, this is what you have to do.

Yep, connecting the header to the LCD worked. Should've seen that before...

Well, everything is wired up, resoldered, and running fine so I'm very happy now with this case. To anyone looking at it in the future my suggestion is to buy it! Besides the crappy manual instructions it's an amazing case, very sleek and quiet, exactly what I wanted.

Thanks for the help getting it up and running guys!
