antec earthwatts 500w

i was just woundering if someone coupld help me.i built a pc for a friend that has a ds3r motherboard with e4400 overclock to 2.6 with 2 gigs ram.also a dvd drive with 80mm and 120mm fan and a x1900xtx.i got the system running and loaded up far cry.set settings to 1900x1200 and played for 20 minutes then started getting big artifacts.then card would not get any signal.i think its dead.so i just wanna know if this power supply is enough for high this kind of card or 8800.thx

abit ix38 quad gt
8800gts
2x2gb g.skill
e8400 wolfdale
one optical one hd

using a 500w earthwatts from antec sonata III and it runs perfect

hmm might just be the x1900xtx.

My computer was running on an EA 500 for about 3 months with e current specs.

Asus A8R32 MVP Deluxe
Opty 185 @3ghz
2 gigs of ram
HighPoint 2300
8800GT oc'd
Creative x-fi
6 hd's
2 optical drives
5x80mm case fans

The fan on the psu never even got loud, but I did want more headroom so I upgraded to a Corsair 620hx.
