can the antec earthwatts 380W power the following?

intel e2180
asrock wolfdale mobo
2 x 1GB corsair ddr2 xms
radeon 4770
dvdrw sata
2 x 250gb sata hdd
1 x 40gb ide hdd
120mm fan

i tried the antec PSU calculator thingy and the result was around 290W. are these PSU calculators reliable?

thanks!

Fairly accurate... that is fine for the Antec Earthwatts 380...

I ran a very similar setup but with an E5200 and 4830... so my power usage was higher... even overclocked heavily it was solid.

Yes, it's enough. And the PSU calculators are decent, but it's always best to ask ;).

It will run fine. My friend is running with his EA380:

-e8400
-2x2GB DDR2
-500GB hdd
-8800GT
-DVD RW
-3x 120mm fan
-140mm fan

It should be fine, the EA380 is a pretty good powersupply.

I wouldn't overclock too much though, and the power consumption of those 250gb drives will vary a lot depending on if they are newer drives with one or two platters or old drives with as many as 4 or 5 platters.

Well, the reliability of those calculators vary and whatever you do don´t use outervisions "overclock my cpu" setting........

And as others have said the EA380 will easily power that system...
