I bought the NeoPower 480W PSU and I'm very happy about it. However, the cables that came with it are a mess. Can anyone here recommend cables I can buy to replace the ones that came with the PSU so my case isn't such a mess? Thanks.

Is cable sleeving hard? Would a product like the one listed below work?

That's for external cabling, not internal like in your PC.

Check this guide out:

Is it hard? Not hard as much as a PITA. You'll need sleeving and heatshrink tubing (I used two Vantec sleeving kits which include both, found at FrozenCPU, or Plycon.com), ATX tools for 5.25/3.5" molex connectors and one for your ATX power connector (FrozenCPU, XOxide, or CrazyPC will have these), masking tape, ballpoint pen, a sharp scissors, a heat source (I used several small votive candles) and 2-3 hours of time. Actually, it's considerably easier on a Neo, what with the modular cabling; I didn't have that, which results in a lot more work.

I used black sleeving, but you can use UV reactive or glow-in-the-dark if you want a special effect. I'm very happy with the results, and it makes things a lot cleaner. EDIT: I also took the opportunity since they were being removed to replace my connectors with black ones, using Vantec EZ-Grips for the 5.25" molex connectors. They remove a lot easier than other types.

If you’re going to go to all the trouble why not just make your own custom cables? The color connector kits are cheap enough, you get to sleeve in color and you have total control over the various lengths you will need.

If you can solder the rest is easy.

Just a thought

FYI: I did speak with a customer support person at Antec and they are expected to sell additional cables for the Antec Neopower. Now I'm not sure if these new cables will be any different than what comes in the box. I think he said you can buy the entire cable kit, same as in the Neopower package, for $20. I'm not sure how much they will charge for each individual cable, plus the shipping cost. Also, for anyone interested in the OCZ Modstream, their support rep also said they would be selling additional cables. He said the newer models will ship with longer and more flexible cables.
