Right, my Aria has been up and running for almost a month now, just finished HL2 on it! Its worth my money tho!

GEIL Value 512MB
Winfast 6600GT APG
Asus P4P800 VM
Aria
Samsung DVD combo
Full load 56oc
Idle 45oc
(room temp= <20oc)
When i use system intense apps. the stock HSF is real loud!
Which shall i replace it with? Dont really wanna use Zalman 7000 or anything too huge, as i dont like them.
 
I don't know. I have an Athlon64 3000+ with a Zalman 7000B-AlCu in there, fits fine and idles at 51C load with the fan @ 1300rpm. Very cool for such a high perfomance computer.
 
I know the zalman 7000 fits in there, but honestly I have so much trouble with the wires being in the way of the stock AMD hs/fan that I havent had the sack to try to put my 7000 in my aria yet lol

Is there any way you could pull the side cover off and get a pic of yours so I can see how you have your wires???

Has anyone by chance tried to instal the Zalman 7000CU with the LGA775 bracket? Does it still fit?
 
I'll second the nod for the Zalman. The stock cooler did not seem to work well in the Aria where as the wide surface area of the Zalman dissipates heat quite nicely. Wire routing isn't that difficult since the Zalman heatsink although wide is shorter than the stock HSF. And it really is quiet for it's sheer size.
