Well I just put it together for my htpc. and let me tell you im a little dissapoitned. I didnt find it as quiet as every1 said it would be. When Im watching a movie and its regular dialougue, you can hear the fan blow lik crazy.

Does any1 know if there is a quieter fan I can put instead of the one it has, that wont be as noisy ?

Vantec Stealth runs at 20dB ~28cfm for 80mm
SilenX runs at 14dB ~28cfm for 80mm

When looking at fans, remember that a 3dB difference doubles (or halves) the noise. I can only hear my Stealth fans when my ear is almost next to them, so I can't even imagine how quiet those SilenX fans are.

edit: What mobo did you end up getting?

Maybe you got a screwed up fan in the psu.. Because my Aria is quiet, the loudest fan is the proc fan, and stock ones are generally rather quiet.

I am using the SLK900U (clip on.

I have an enermax 90mm adjustable on top. its true that fan makes a little noise, but its nothing compared to the fan in the back. Maybe its because the case is getting very hot? Could tha tbe the reason?

Might be that you're getting too hot (what's your temps?), for I have a Antec Aria case also and I notice the fans spinning a little faster when the computer is running something. Although my Antec Aria case is still pretty quiet even when doing something.
