Antec Aria New Rig Need Guidence

I am thinking of building a small form factor machine for a family member I will be using the same equipment that is in my signature. Both hard drives are 7200 RPM I will have a dvd burner in the rig also. My questions is will the heat from the hard drives damage my dvd burner. I plan to mod the case if you have suggestions please let me know. I am worried about the heat damaging my system or making it die before its time. Please help

Wow, cannot honestly say I've ever thought about that.

As long as you use the exhaust 120 mm fan on the Antec, you should be good to go... I can't imagine it getting that hot to disturb the burner...

I have 2 7200rmp 300gb hard drives segate now. They are PATA but I will be using the PATA to sATA adapeter on this. Will the combined heat of the 2 drives harm the dvd burner]
