  Has anyone figued out a good way to run the cables and wires in the ANTEC Aria this is causing me a great deal of trouble. I am strange temps. When I first check the temps at boot up its 38 degress celcius but after 5 minutes its up to 51 or 53 celcius then it peaks out at about 58-60 celcius. Will these temps fry my system if I am playing FAR CRY or DOOM 3. I also do alot of video and audio editing are these temps normal. I took my system apart and tried to organize the wires but no luck the wires are either too short or too long to get a good arrangment. Can anyone please tell me and show me pics of how they have thier wires arranged and the best way to get good airflow. Please help. :(

Look at my cluster f*ck of a mess :D

Probably not what you are looking for as it's modded but hey, I can show off my messy ass Aria, can't I? ;)

the aria does seem very clutter,

in a situtation like this, your giong to have to do some cutting and extending or shorting ur wires, and possible put it in looms or wire wrap

Why is the DVD burner outside of the computer? How does that help me whih cable management. I am a gamer and I can't have my optical drive on top of the machine expecially since I carry it to lan parties can anyone help me on some real cable managment solutions for the Antec aria or can someone recommend a small form factor seteup that uses micro atx motherboards and that is quiet

Why is the DVD burner outside of the computer?

To keep the inside cooler. Less wires inside means better airflow inside.

How does that help me whih cable management.

Less wires inside the case.

I too am a gamer and there are only two wires that need to be connected to my external DVD drive. The USB and the power.

Please check the the link below to see my temps BEFORE the external drive was used.
My Aria

I see what you mean with the temps. But I have already invested money in an internal DVD burner. If i use one of these kits that i see to make your internal drive into an external drive won't I loose performance on the dvd burner. Please help. I have had all this stuff for so long and I fear by the time I get it up and running the way I want I will have to purchase new equipment.

It Shouldn't. My AGP & PCI slots are used. I even have a 5900XT in there. I have a Zalman heatsink. No slot cooling at all. I am a gamer & system temps are my main concern. Cables are a problem with the Aria, but I've learned to live with it. Temps do get a lot warmer when gaming but still in the green for stability. Maybe it's becasue I dont overclock my system. Pics are coming soon...

I can't seem to find a Zalman cpu heatsink/cooler that will fit. Please help. I need this fast.

Your still going to use your Aria? I thought you hated the thing?

Yes but seeing how I already have the pieceo of trash I need to get it running. at least until I can find a high quality case :p

What motherboard are you running again? My Zalman fits quite nicely in the Aria.
