Antec 900 sidepanel fan bracket

I was wondering if it's possible to remove the fan bracket from the windowed side panel and yet still have the grill on there, my 6600GT blows air out of that side so I thought it'd be best to open that whole thing up. From the looks of it the plastic bracket is not only screwed on but is hot glued too :confused:
 
I haven't really looked at removing the plastic, but I did notice the other night when I had the case side off that the hot glue was coming loose. Shouldn't be too hard to get rid of that. I'll look at it a little closer later and see what it looks like for pulling the plastic.
 
Yes, it can be removed. However, that leaves the mesh with only 2 small screws to hold it on. Not very sturdy as it can be pushed in easily. Unless you used a small amount of hot glue or something.

yeah it doesnt look like they come off. do they really bother you that much? when you get a gforce 8 card you be needing them for a fan to keep it cool!!

It doesn't bother me, I just thought maybe it'd be better to open the whole thing up so all the air the videocard blows out can just go out the side. :cool:
