hi guys i have an antec 900 case and im pretty happy with it, but i have some doubts regarding the fans on the case, i overclocked my q6600 g0 to 3.0 ghz and i have an 8800 gts 640mb g80 so there is some heat inside......all my fans are set to high and theres a lot of noise on my room ;), so i was wondering if there will be any difference in temperatures by reducing the fans speed from high to low, im concerned about my cpu temps raising too much if i reduce the speed on the fans and also about the fans life span, finally the noise is killing me....:( .. or are there any recommendations you guys can give me about how to set my fans speed properly...... thank you very much for taking the time to read my post and for all your comments .....
 
You should be fine with all fans on low, no real risk of anything overheating too badly.

What CPU / GPU temps are you getting with fans on high? Load vs. idle?
 
I turned all of my fans on low, maybe 2* difference load from high speed. You're probably fine to turn them down.
 
I do not see significant differences between med and low. Probably 1-2c, not enough to worry. I turned all my fans on low. Biggest differences for me are moving the rear fan to the side panel to cool the GPU. Also want to make sure your cables are not blocking air flow.
 
i have all the same setup, and run all my fans on low. i also have a zalman 9500 on the cpu running low and everything stays cool. even with the cpu oc'ed to 3.0 and my 8800 at 650 950.
 
You could always try medium settings for the fans and see if that's a good compromise.
 
I would recommend maybe buying a GPU side fan but low for all fans still move a high amount of air...If it works for you, I might suggest low for the 2 front intake fans while the exhaust fans be kept low
