Antec 900 Mod/Case Question

So those of you may know that the antec 900 has a 200MM fan on top of the case. Now my problem lies in that I think the grill holes are a bit too big and could potentially allow stuff to fall through. Is there any kind of material (maybe some kind of filter kinda material?) that I could just tape over it without restricting airflow too much?

Also I was thinking of taping wires to the backside of the case to hide it, what kinda tape should i use?
 
You can get filter foam at a hardware store. I have also heard that dryer sheets make for a good filter. I just looked at my 900 and I have to say yeah I can see why you have fear of stuff falling thru the holes but also wonder what you might be putting up there that could fall thru.

Now I think about it you could also get some nylon screen material (the kind for house windows). the nylon screen is alot more flexible and easier to wirk with and is darker in colot to metal screen. if you go somewhere that does screen repair maybe they could give you a scrap piece for free.

I can't think of any tape thats strong aneough to hold wires to the back of your case, but if you get some Zip Tie Holders that has 2 sided tape to hold them on you could then use zip ties to hold the wires in place. http://www.radioshack.com/product/i...e+mounts&kw=wire+tie+mounts&parentPage=search

As for screen material, I happen to work at a plant that manufactures vinyl doors and windows. I could easily dig through the scrap bin and cut you off a piece of screen material if you're willing to pay the cost of shipping. I doubt it would be much considering I can just fold it and stick it in a big envelope.
 
one of the reasons why i wanted it cuz i live with a kinda crappy roomate and we have abesto like ceiling, u know the spiky stuff? and he always knocks it off onto my keyboard and shit and i have to constantly clean it/cover it to keep that shit off. :(

and stryker i would totally appreciate that.
 
I chopped a strip that's 8.5in wide and roughly 5ft wide. I figure that's enough for 3 computer cases worth of fan filters. if anyone else wants some of the stuff, first 2 others to PM me asking for it will get about 1.75ft of it for the price of shipping, whatever shipping method you prefer.
