Antec 900 Case $60 AR

One of those $20 off GCO coupons would make it exceptionally saweet!
Then you're talking $40. That's incredible!

Man, I'm really thinking about getting this for $40! I dunno if I really like the case though. It looks cheap to me. Is there a way to close the side vent... besides duct tape?

awesome price shit back in the day I paid 90 bucks for mine and its definately worth the price. The only thing on this case we hace to mod it for better cable management.

Nokia

I had a friend bring in his new system build with this case. I was very very impressed with the low noise level and the sheer amount of airflow.

My friend also just built a system with this. Seems pretty nice in person. Lots of air flow, which collects a lot of dust.. but sweet temps!

I have the case and have been pretty happy so far. The internal temps and case airflow is, obviously exceptional.
Noise is not too bad, but dust definitely is. As-is the case has negative internal pressure, which sucks it in like crazy.

Well worth it for $60

I ended up getting one for myself, to replace an older Supermicro SC760 case that I bought years ago. The price was just a bit too hard to pass up with the rebate.

My neighbor has one of these and houses an assload of graphics cards in it for like 7 monitors. In person, the case looks a lot better than it does online, thats for sure. If I didn't have my CM690, I would bite on this without a doubt. Good deal.

i sure wish i would have bit on that p182 deal a while back. i'm still torn at this deal though.

in for one of these cases. i was waiting on the CM-590 to come out to complete a budget build, but this deal was too good to pass up imo.

$99.99 - $40MIR -$10GCO = $49.99 shipped....for a $130 case; yes please!

edit: anyone know how antec is with their rebates? ive never done one through them.

It comes with plastic film covering the plastic already. Could just leave that on. Not cheap at all though. solid case with plenty of room. Cable management sucks, but the module harddrive bays make it sooooo worth having.

Wow, I purchased a few hours ago and status is now shipped with expected arrival date of March 14th :D

would you get an ADDITIONAL 10% off if you're a first time google checkout customer?

I love this case to death, and the only negative thing anyone can say about it is that it has bad cable management... which is true. I paid $75 for mine not too long ago when it was on sale at frys.

I've never had any problems with Antec and rebates. Received every one I've ever applied for...

I have this case and it keeps everything nice and cool. Definately a steal at this price.

wow, my case shipped out this morning and it should already be here tomorrow according to fedex. thats awesome considering the free shipping was "7-10 day budget shipping." i guess it helps that it shipped from about an hour from my house, but still awesome!

a little unrelated, but i ordered a 500 GB mybook and it came the next day, on budget shipping, buy.com is great...

i have this case also, very nice quiet and cool, very good airflow! Buy it if you can't afford the p90

They are....as long as something doesn't go wrong. I ordered some z5500 speakers before christmas, and it took close to a month to get it. emails went unanswered (unless you count the automated response that promised to contact me). When i finally called in and complained, they said I'd have to wait a week before they'd hsip a replacement. Now let's be clear: the speakers NEVER left the warehouse. They had a tracking number, but it was never scanned in by UPS. Worse still, they didn't even think UPS had gotten it, because they never started a trace on the package. Better companies would have sent the speakers out within a day.

If the deal is HOT, then it's worth going for it, but if it's just a buck or 2, I'd go elsewhere. I hope they get their shit together, but as it stands, customer service is pretty shaky....nothing like it was 10 years ago.

i'm guessing this deal is dead since there's no option to add it to my cart from buy.com, only from other retailers?

Yeah, it looks like Buy.com is sold out, so they're redirecting to other sites. :(

Mine arrived today....getting ready to take it out of the box and load it up...

I bought mine for 139.00 when it first came out. Not a bad case. Not the best for cable management. NOthing drilling a couple holes in the side cant fix. Good price.

got my case yesterday. cable management is a pain, but damn does this thing move some air. it is actually cold sitting next to it haha. but ya, after a few hours i managed to get the cables to not look absolutely horrible, but after a while i gave up and just wanted to get my pc working again. ill probably work on it again in a few days to see what i can do.

cable management problem?

not on the inside

nightlight switch on gromet

night lights ON!

Pros are obvious and have been iterated through so many times. Cons are what you want to hear right? I've had my case for about a week, and the mesh is covered in dust as is the inside due to the retardiculous amount of air flow ..... It's like it recycles air dust as much as a WC system would if the reservoir held a half cup of water. Cable management was a pain, but it doesn't mean it's going to look like @#$$ .... it just means you have to spend some time on it. If you're visiting these forums and ordering cases like this and dont have the time to tidy the cables ...... see the axioms for paradoxical situations because you shouldn't avoid this case due to 'time restraints' or ignorance of how to wire a PSU nicely :p

Id also like to see some wide feet that stick out like my previous antec case had even though it doesn't have the towering height as the previous case. A small cover for the open ports up top would also be nice so dust doesnt fall right into the open case wounds. The front panel/top panel wires could be longer. In order to hide mine beneath the mobo, I had to bend my mobo pins.

The front peice seems .... useless? There are random dents/cups on the top of the front peice that have no use really except for dust. I place my screws there temporarily sometimes when taking the side off.

Overall the practicality of this case is flat out hands down amazing. It packs more features in a mid tower than any other case I have ever seen or owned. If you're going with a case this height/size ... you simply can not go wrong.

Nice pics, that's a nice kit of ram eh? My Antec 900 arrived today now waiting on other parts...
