Hi, the booklet tells me to plug in (optional) the fan connecter on to the case fan so that the psu can control the speed of the fan.

My nivida card is going over 60 c and it worries me (this is idle - was 52 c idle when the exahust fans were pumping at full speed) because the exaust fans are not going as fast as they did when it was connected to the standard plug.

Also, the fan connector only had 2 pins while the case exaust fan has 4? Does this really work or should I go back to the regular plug? thanks all

p.s. the top of my case gets pretty warm - almost hot is this normal as well? (aluminum case)

p.p.s. if this question is nub I am one so bare with it and calm the flames =X

Id say go with which ever gives you the coolest case temps
but your case itself migh need more ventilation
it ideally would be the same temperature inside as out
