This may go into power supplies, who knows... but is a 400w Antec enough power to run a p4 2.8c overclocked to 3.2+ and could it possibly be limiting my overclock? I've got a cdrw, dvd, 2 hd's, 4 case fans, and a BFG 6800gt OC. My vid card won't oc and the temps seem fine, could this also be caused by the psu? I think I may be on the bleeding edge of needing a new one, and definitely don't want to risk underpowering the system. Will the overclocked p4 consume more power then what I've got available?

Should be more than enough. Antecs are actually rated lower than they output. I have an Allied 350w that I used until my replacement PSU came and I gotta say it was more than enough to OC my 2.8C to 3.8GHz on an AI7 and it powered the 5900XT I had for OCing as well.

I've got my 2.8c overclocked to 3.3 at the moment on default voltage... but is it possible the power supply is keeping my 6800gt from autodetecting higher? The thing literally will not overclock even 15mhz on the core or 30mhz on the memory. It seems unlikely I got this horrible of an overclocker, so could the psu be at fault here?

My antec truepower 430 let me OC to 420 / 1070, but when i switched to a PC P&C 510 i could get 445 / 1190 easy. It could very well be your PSU holding you back.

Yeah, those 6800's are extremely power hungry. If this guy is getting results like that, I can't really argue...
