Got my new Antec 300 some days ago, and i decided to mod it lilte bit. Heres list for all the modifications:

-Removed all fan grills
-Make some holes in the motherboard plate.
-Painted black from inside.
-U-Channel for qutted parts
-Window.

It almost ready, some lilte things need to be done. Like buying double side tape so i can put the window on it.

Are you going to replace the fan grilles with aftermarket? If not, I don't really understand cutting them out. You need grilles on exposed fans. The stock honeycomb is actually pretty open and efficient unless you're pushing a tremendous amount of air through them.
 
nice job looks clean... I hate the honeycomb too, I wish I would have removed it all on my 700D but that would have meant buying come kind of fan grilles to keep people from sticking there fingers in my fans.
 
Not goin to replaces the original fan grilles with aftermarket.

Will buy 2x120mm blueled fan for the front, and some blue cold cathode lights.

Not only that, but to keep cables and other things out of them. What good is a fan if it isn't turning? Plus, aftermarket fan grilles are a great way to add a little personality to the case. Each to their own, I guess.
 
It's more about airflow.. grills restrict air, increase noise, and typically look ugly, so I can see why he would remove them.

If I was modding a case I'd do the same thing... I'm too lazy to do that so I live with my stock cases :p

Looks good. that molding is a little bulky but still looks good. Recommend this U-CHANNEL I have used it a few times and it is slim and clean.

Your camera sucks as bad as mine does :p

Not a bad first attempt at cutting up an old case. There are a lot of examples on this site. Take a look at some of the mod worklogs and see how others have installed windows, made cuts in steel, what type of moulding materials... etc.

Careful though... it's an addiction :)
