What the fuck were they thinking.

Any remaining elegance in the Antec gamer series (300,900,1200) is now gone in this case. Looks like a cheap plastic POS.

I don't know. The P180 impressed me. The 900 was alright. I don't like what they're doing now with their case designing. Everything is looking like the skeleton. Black angled beams all over like a play structure are not appealling to me. I've moved to Lian Li because of having more money and appreciating them. Older Antec cases used to have all the features and quality, but now they're average designs with the most marketing and volume.
 
I agree. I wish antec would simplify their gaming cases a lot. Less angulatiry and extra facets.

I love how the Lian Li and Silverstone cases are simple and therefore sophistocated looking. These new cases (original 900 included), look like toys. Like toy guns or spaceships to be more specific.

Hmmm... Maybe that's their angle, appeal to the 8 year old in all of us.
 
they should have just update the 300 to 302. Adding cpu hole, water cooling holes and add on window option.
 
Hideous. If I wanted a case with geometric flair I'd buy a Raven.

300 is still IMHO the best case under $50, beating the CM 590 and 690 because you can mount a 2nd 120mm front intake without having to buy extra parts (or resorting to zip ties).

Not really impressed though with Antec's $100+ cases (900, 902, 1200). I'd rather get one of the more pricey CM's in that range (HAF 922 for $99 especially).
 
Complete rubbish. The 300 is a much better buy, with the exact same inner layout without the utterly hideous front panel of the 200.

I have an Antec midtower from 2002. I just assembled a 300 last week. I like it fine. This one is ugly, but I don't have to buy it - the 300 has clean, simple lines and good build quality and features for $59.
 
I just bought an Antec 300 at bestbuy for $50. Price matched Frys.com. Despite saying they don't match them, it showed up at the POS so I caught em in a lie and said I'm not paying $69.99 for the thing. Best 50 bucks I've spent in a while. Well besides that... nevermind lol.

That 200 is not worth the $54.99 though, it looks like junk. Reminds me of a r-tarded Transformer that sexed the dude referenced earlier from Starfox.
