Antec 1200-overclockers choice?

I just ordered case today for a new build and it's been a while so I've ordered 3 parts today which include the folliwng 1. Antec 1200 case & 2 VelociRaptor 150 gig drives. My goal is to overlock and other components have not been fully decided so I"m seeking some advise. I'm thinking about a Asus Maximus formela II board with a quad core 6600 or maybe a Q9350 deping on what advise I get. I want to use a large cooler like the TRUE 120 . I'm thinking this case has the cooling compasity to help me reach at least 3.6 to 4.0 ghz :)
 
The case will help with cooling but honestly you are limited by ambient room temps more than the case. Almost any modern case can cool well, I wouldn't worry too much. But yes the 1200 moves a crap ton of air.
 
The computer is located in the basement with about 17 Celsius or 62.2 Fahrenheit so that should not be a problem.
 
The 1200 is a beast. I absolutely love mine. I just rebuilt my current system inside a new 1200 and I got a 1000w Antec PSU as well cause newegg was offering $100 off if you purchased the combo deal. I will be building a new Nehalem system inside this 1200 once the hardware is available. This is easily the most impressive case I have ever owned. I have used top of the line Lian Li, Silverstone, and Coolermaster cases in the past and this one literally destroys them all.
 
I see the 1200 is very popular over the last few months. What I don't get is why. I mean it looks ok and all but I don't see anything that sets it apart from any other top end case. For instance what makes the 1200 better than a CM Stacker? Or the new CM HAF. Please fill me in on this.

Well I changed over from the Stacker 830 case for the simple fact that the Stacker wasn't really meeting my cooling needs plus I am building a new machine and I like to get a new case when I build a new machine. I don't like the look of the CM HAF so the choice was simple.

Ok understandable that's personal prefrence as is the case mostmof the time. Curious though, the stacker was giving you cooling issues, with all those fan slots you had bad air flow?
First time I have ever heard of that.

Reason I am so curious is because I am doing a ground up build as soon as nehalem launches and am currently considering which full size case I want. The TT armor I have had for the past 3 years has been great but I want something different this time. I have always had my eye on the stacker series. The case I was mostly considering was the stacker 830se since it seems to have a ton of cooling options. looks nice and has a very good quality 1kPS which H here gave a very good review. Am I nuts? :)

There was a dead zone above where the CPU socket is located. My old PSU was not moving enough air out. The top mounted 120mm blowhole was not doing an effective job at getting air out the top of the case. The 200mm fan placed directly over the CPU does an insane job of moving air out of the case. With the 3 120mm fans directly at the front there is no longer any dead spots in the case. It is literally like a giant wind tunnel. The fans are not loud, but they move air like nothing else. It really surprised me just how much air was moving. I would not recommend leaving this case on your floor is you have carpet cause I am sure it will suck a TON of crap into the filters.
 
I think it is popular because it is a very good choice for several applications.

I am using an Antec 1200 to hold my WHS system. It doesn't even have a video card in it. A rather far cry from the overclocked tri-SLI systems I have seen in the same case.

Yet is it absolutely perfect - I wanted a case that could easily hold and cool 12+ drives and had room to work in, and didn't sound like I had a windtunnel in my closet.

My drive temps max at 27, NB is around 27, and CPU is 31. And it is only audible in the dead of night when I am the only one around. Even then, my water cooler is louder.
