Antec 1200 front fan filter

I just bought a Antec 1200 and want to have 4 120's in the front. Does anyone know where i can get an extra filter for this ?

I would call and ask.. usually you have to ask a representative for spare parts, like for sidepanels and such.

Buy another 1200 from your local Fry's if you have one that is, or just pick one up locally. Take out the filter and return it. Most people will not notice this when you return it.

Where do you intend to mount this front fan? The top bay? Need optical drives much?

Anyway, try taking the filter off of the side fan. It's a slightly different design, but you can probably mod it.

In the meantime until they get replacement filters, you can just make/buy your own. Make some out of PantyHose, or the airfilters they put in ducts... or buy some 120mm fan filters.

As for needing optical drives, I just use my USB one..

Then again I have a mATX case with a fan controller taking up one of the 5.25 bays, and the PSU wires shoved in the other one.

Yea the one for the side fan should work. Just cut off that tab that sticks up.

Make your own; in a pinch, certain thin types of packing foam, pantyhose (seriously), and dryer sheets do the job.
