if I got Conroe, would the Artic Cooler 7 freezer pro work on it?

Also, I only have a 500 watt Antec power supply. Going AMD 4200+ with a ATI x1900 AIW would make me buy a new PSU.

Would I hafta do that with a e6400, 2 gigs of ocz dual channel gold gamer ram, and a ATI x1900 AIW?

No , 500w is more than enough.

The freezer pro will work fine. The socket did not get redesigned...just the chip.
