ill make this simple..i never owned a digital camera..but i know how to use them just fine and theres nothing too advanced out there for me (sans a camera with no auto options AT ALL)

id like a camera thats great at taking macro shots, and is good with portrait and sports photography. zoom is not TOO important...but good picture quality is a must. and i dont want the pictures to be blurry while just holding the camera (meaning no tripod/other thing to stabalize it)
$300 or less

my ideal choice would be a digital rebel vanilla/XT

heres the cameras ive picked out in my price range

Fuji Finepix S5100 4MP 10X zoom $292 - 450 MIR = $242
Fuji Finepix S3100 4MP 6X zoom $209
Canon Powershot A95 5MP 3X zoom $260

all prices are taken from newegg

ive heard that the fujis take blurry pictures if not held perfectly steady...but im not gonna be able to test it out till i go to the store tomorrow to try each of these out

nvm...just picked up a Powershot G6 floor model (works perfect, takes great shots) for $416 with a 512MB CF card

i love getting good stuff cheap :D
