Im looking at the X800 Pro or X800 XT or GeForce6800 Ultra. I dont know much about these 3 cards but while i was looking around at Newegg.com I saw the 9800XT was more then the X800 Pro this got me wondering becuase i heard you can flash a 9800PRO into a 9800XT so is flashing a 9800Pro the best way to go??? Or is the X800 PRO better then that?

The X800 Pro is worlds better than the 9800XT. I wouldn't even consider the 9800 now if it's more than the X800 Pro. The 6800U is also a great card (from what I see online lol) but the X800 line is definitely a good buy whichever way you go.

Yeah im likeing the X800 PRO becuase some poeple are already trying to mod it into a X800 XT so that will be nice if you can

Also whats the best site to order one

I got mine from Outpost.com. I got it exactly when they said I would so I'm happy with their service.

You can order one from any of these places and be confident:

Newegg.com
Mwave.com
Zipzoomfly.com
Outpost.com
Gameve.com (ok I believe, but never ordered anything from them.)

Of these, one will have some in stock at the moment. I usually praise newegg, but lately with the prices they've been charging for these cards, I feel it's a better buy elsewhere. (Never thought I'd turn away from newegg.)

My Visiontek was $399 @ Outpost.com and with shipping, came to $412. Not a bad deal.

Its still so expensive because of the Joe Sixpacks who walk into best buy and say "ooo look that must be the best card because its the most expensive" and its an easy way for retailers to get rid of their stock without selling at a loss.

The 9800XT is still a fairly new card, and these retail computer stores are usually never the place to buy PC parts unless you catch a good deal, 9/10 times the egg beats the retail's deal but oh well...

I found the X800 PRO in stock for $399 at.........best buy lol in stock
All the online stores StArWaRrIoR placed are like 450 w/o shipping. Best Buy is free shiping sweet!!!!
