• Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.

Another one bites the dust...

My xeon box shit the bed. Had some issues last week with the power, it was flickering or something. Because of this event, I lost a 2p xeon box as well as an access point.

It wasn't a BA folder, but now I am down more points.

I have mentioned this before but...

I have all my computers and other critical gear on a couple of very large UPS's. They kick in any time there is a fluctuation in the voltage that is out of spec, high or low. In the last 15 years or so I havent lost a box. Still think it is the UPS's that are keeping them from harm.

FYI

I bought them used and the batteries are almost dead and need replaced. But they work fine as a voltage filter.

Mobo. The south bridge gets damn hot then the mobo itself gets hot, it boot loops, does not boot from usb. IDK. The south bridge gets hot enough where you can't touch it.

It was behind a UPS as was the access point, 2 separate UPS, same day.
