This one I call the Six Shooter. I do not have the fan rendered with it yet, but this is the passive mode. In the poll, it was supposed to say flower in the last choice.

That looks... different. Is the fan going to be placed at the top?
It looks like the shape of that heatsink would dissipate heat quite well.

It will have a 70mm squirrel cage fan on the side with a semi circle shroud to keep the flow over the fins.
Looks a little small in terms of diameter. A heatsink with such a small footprint would need to be pretty tall to have enough surface area perform well, and it may not fit in many cases(not to mention the length of the heatpipes would probably make it inefficient). If you doubled or even tripled the diameter, it would probably work a lot better. The actual concept is definitely very interesting.
Edit: Diameter as in total diameter including the center column, not just the arms. Extending just the arms would help too, but it may create dead spots close to the center, as well as not making maximum use of the space.
