Another "New Build Wont Post" thread.

board might be faulty, had this happen to me, when i built my cousins computer.

I have taken off HDD, both DVDs and changed the RAM around a couple times. But still nothing. Whats the DEAL?

Should I take off the CPU cooler to see if it gets warm? I have no idea about this, every other build I have partaken on has started right up.

Please help, I so frickin depressed right now.

I just pulled off the DVI to see if the APG will work, and all the sudden the fans start spinning. No sounds or boot but that cant be normal?

Figured It out... I dont even want to say what it was that I did, but lets just say I am lucky I didn't destroy my CPU.

If I am in a better mood later I will post what I did and didn't do (same thing in this case).

Thanks for those who helped (although I think I talked my self through it). And a special thanks to the search button for helping me find an almost unlimited source of information on this subject.

got it to post? do you have all the hardware drivers for windows 64 bit? if not might run into more problems. each of your hardware needs 64 bit drivers unless you are dual booting or something like that.

Got them all, transfering them currently. Had a bunch of CMOS errors... it couldn't find the mouse. I had to track down an old Dell mouse to get ti to pass that error.

cpu in the wrong way?

no, but I am posting this from it right now, as HL2 installs in the background.

Got the drivers for network adapter (forgot those) from the nVidia site and all is well. Time to set up the wireless network, then to sleep.
