The corner seems to be turning on OLED laptop screens.

This year has seen the release of two new 4K OLED laptop screens. The 15" OLED 4K released in a few previous laptops and this new 13.3" 4K OLED that just started trickling out.

"The top-of-the-range models will come with a 4K Ultra-HD OLED panel that covers 100% of the DCI-P3 color gamut. "

Hope they sell well and lead to bigger things like more desktop OLED monitors.

I'm glad to see the 13" size showing up, yeah. I just bought a Dell Ice Lake XPS 13 2in1 though which has the distinction of possibly the highest contrast non-FALD IPS ever made(1800:1, confirmed by notebookcheck).

A concern of mine is battery life, even 4K LCDs give up a lot of that, and my laptop is a pure travel machine(I almost never use it at home), so battery life is paramount and display quality is secondary.

But hopefully we can all make the switch to OLED laptops in the next couple of years! I'll definitely want my next upgrade to have one, as long as battery life isn't horrid.
