I've already picked out most parts, but I'd like advice on wether these are worth the money and what power supply and dvd burner to get.

1) What will you be doing with this PC? Gaming? Photoshop? Web browsing? etc
Some gaming, nothing fancy, Portal 2, Darkspore (little brother), possibly some other games. Web browsing and lots of word processing.
2) What's your budget? Are tax and shipping included?
$500-$600, yes
3) Where do you live?
New York City
4) What exact parts do you need for that budget? CPU, RAM, case, etc. The word "Everything" is not a valid answer. Please list out all the parts you'll need.
RAM, CPU, Motherboard, Power supply, graphics card, hard drive, dvd burner. I can probably get a monitor, but I'm not sure. (everything except a case)
5) If reusing any parts, what parts will you be reusing? Please be especially specific about the power supply. List make and model.
Case, I need to check the make and model, it's at a friends house.
6) Will you be overclocking?
no
7) What size monitor do you have and/or plan to have?
18" to 21"
8) When do you plan on building/buying the PC?
At the absolute earliest June, at the latest September.
9) What features do you need in a motherboard? RAID? Firewire? Crossfire or SLI support? USB 3.0? SATA 6Gb/s? eSATA? Onboard video? etc.
Nothing special, VGA USB 2.0, etc
10) Do you already have a legit and reusable/transferable OS key/license? If yes, what OS? Is it 32bit or 64bit?
No, but I have connections and might be able to get one. I am planning on using windows 7 home premium.

It's too early to pose a build list. Revisit this thread two or three weeks before you're ready to buy everything.

(Before you ask, make sure that you have enough money to buy everything at once. That way, you minimize any price fluctuations that may make certain key components more expensive when bought separately.)
