My PSU is a Silverstone ST60F 600w modular unit. My rig is in my sig. The other day I flashed my eVGA 8800GT to 1.1v to get more juice out of it. Just yesterday after bootup I received the error saying not enough power is getting to my GPU. I restart and it goes away. Power up again this morning and I BSOD right after I start moving around in Windows. This happens a few times so I go into BIOS put everything to stock default, except my GPU is still at 1.1v. Restart, everything runs super slow. It takes about 30 secs just to get into my BIOS. I'm able to get into Windows in Safe Mode but it takes a lonnnngg while. I've been running testing tools for the better half of the evening and everything seems to be OK.

Only things I haven't done is reseat my CPU and haven't flashed back the old BIOS for my GPU. It was good for 2 days then this happened. Is my PSU on its way out? :(

EDIT: Just flashed back the old BIOS for my GPU and still no-go :(

EDIT2: After letting it sit, it was able to get into Windows after ~10-15mins. While in, everything seems to run fine. Could this be my motherboard having issues?
 
Anyone know if a PSU could cause boot slowness? I just put in a new mobo and I'm still getting the same stuff. Could this be a memory issue? :confused:
 
Did everything work fine before you flashed the video card? It doesn't really seem like a psu issue and that psu should be plenty for your rig. It sounds like you could have damaged the video card since the only thing you changed is the voltage, but it is hard to tell. I doubt it is a memory issue if the memory worked fine for you before. You can try running it with one stick and see if that does anything for you.

Do you have another system to test it on. Also try unplugging everything you don't need and powering your rig up. This can help tell you if it is a psu issue
 
I just tired out some fresh sticks of memory and still it persists.

After it boots, I'm still able to play games (played TF2 for an hour earlier) with no effects whatsoever. I don't think it's the GPU. The only things left I haven't replaced is the PSU and the CPU. Again, once Windows is running, I'm not experiencing anything at all. I'm powering up now and waiting for Windows to boot.

I'm going to run 3Dmark06 once this thing is up and see what kind of score I get.

If it looks normal, I'm going to run to the store and pick up a Corsair vx520. I was hoping it was the memory =P

Update: I just unplugged the 750GB HDD, all fans but CPU and CD-ROM and it booted right up. Tried with the old sticks, and the same thing. I never thought I'd have any issues with this PSU but I guess you can never really be too sure. Went out and got a hx520w before the store closed...
