Ok. This is sort of my Christmas wishlist, but there's no harm in deciding early, eh? So I'm looking for a good case. Currently I have an Antec SuperLanboy, which is a good case, but it's tiny. It can be a pain to work in. And the airflow is pretty bad with a bunch of stuff in it. My wants are:

-Relatively quite; I'd like to keep it on at night
-Light is good, but not a must. I take it out once a week and go to the occasional LAN.
-Good looking. Not seizure-enducing good looking, more refined.
-Medium sized (where the SuperLanboy is small). Components should fit easily.
-*Good cooling* This is a big factor, as I plan on OC'ing.
-Max price: $150. But that's really a little more than I'd like to spend.

I'm considering these four:

Gigabyte 3D Aurora,
Antec P180, Cooler Master Centurion 5 and the Thermaltake Tsunami. I'm now also heavily considering the Lian-Li PC-7B Plus.

I know the Aurora is the most expensive at ~$150, but it has the advantages of being lightweight and having good cooling. The P180 is a little less, but it's huge and heavy. And the PSU alignment is a little wacky... It does have excellent cooling though. The Centurion 5 is the cheapest by a lot, but it's not much bigger than the one I have now. The Lian-Li seems to have a very good price/performance ratio. And the Tsunami is there for variety. ;) So, any thoughts or other suggestions? TIA! :)

Edit: And if you do vote in the poll, please try to post a reason that you did (personal expereince, word-of-mouth, etc). Thanks! :)

Out of those, I say Aurora.

Out of any, I'd say an old school Lian Li, Stacker (if you have some muscle), or Silverstone TJ06.

I don't care much for the cheaper Lian-Li's, they seem just that (cheap). And very few have 120mm fans unless you pay $200+ for one. And stackers are nice cases, but they're just too big. I'm not that strong. ;) But the TJ06 isn't a bad idea. It's probably about the same weight as the P180, but I like the looks quite a bit. Does anybody have any experience with them?

Edit: I don't feel like building a case is why. :p Too much work, plus I'm inexperienced.

So far it looks like the Aurora is the most popular... Anybody else?

Just make sure you have a drill nearby. I bought one a couple weeks ago, and several holes didn't line up 100%. (I had to drill out the holes for the PSU to make it screw in)

Otherwise it's a nice case, stays pretty cool, and it's not something you see everyday on here.

Well, screwing out holes shouldn't be a big problem. Though, if you're spening $140+ on a case you'd expect them to line up. :p I wish you could change the poll options, because I'm also now considering the Lian-Li PC-7B SE (2 120mm fans). Does anyone have experience with this case? Or links to reviews? I can't find any through google...

I have to say, im a fan of the P180...i want one so bad, and when you read reviews it just seems so kickass...i checked out the other cases, but only the look...i still like the P180 :)

^Lol, nice. If I had a sister, I'd get that for her.

Right now it's pretty much between the Aurora and the Lian-Li. Does anyone have any experience with the latter?

Do you think the airflow in the Lian-Li would be much better than the case I have now? It probably would be seeing as it's bigger and has a blowhole..but I'd like others opinions. Thankee.

I'm either a P180 or stacker fan depending on the application and I do recommend the P180 case. (however there are some non P180 folks out there who aren't too keen on that case :( due to restricted interior space and some QC issues that have come up). I like its minimalistic, simple yet elegant look and its quiet performance above all.

Centurion 5 is a decent case, Easy to wrok in and around, I am currently tweaking this one. Its a for sale rig that I keep doing things to, It may end up being My kids X mas present... :D
They have great air flow, as they come with a 120mm rear fan.

Yeah, I looked at that case. I heard it had bad cooling though, because of the weird HD placement. Any idea if that's true or not?

Likely true... but if I was to get that case (which I'm considering), I'd remove the HDD cage (it is removable), and mount the HDDs in the 5.25" bays, perhaps with some elastic cords for suspension. Do make sure you add a 120mm exhaust fan... as the case only comes with an intake.

Yeah... Well, I'm probably going to go with the Lian-Li, unless I can somehow scratch up the funds and get the Aurora. Thanks for all the votes/advice guys! :)
