Another HD no Room?

I have dual hardrives one 36.7 GB 10,000 Rpm dirve and a 120 Gb slave drive with programs still on it.


The one problem is I have 2 ports open for 2 more HD but I have no room, is there anyway I can mount a new hardrive on or in there or set it on something...

Technically I have one slot open but I might put a floppy in there too...

depends on your case.. but from what your saying. I'd say buy a new case

Depends on the case is correct, but I know that at CompUSA I have seen 3.5" Bay Extention kits.

Basiclly it is just an extra drive bay that mounts onto your current drive cage.

well if you dont mind you can mount it in the drive bays where the cd/dvd drives normally go. Thats what i did, i just mounted one side of the hard drive normally and got 2 blocks of styrafoam to hold the other side up.

According to the case specs you have 7 drive slots.
So.........
2x HDD's.
1x Floppy/
1x Zip.
1x/2x Cd/Dvd ?

You will still have 1 or 2 5-1/4" bays free.
Just get a 3-1/2" to 5-1/4" rail kit.

Yea, you can buy the actual bracket that you can mount the HDD in. I actually found one inside an old 386. If your looking to save coin and know of some old computers, check em' out and you might find treasure. Mine had a 40mb WD HDD mounted in it.
