I'm using the antec PSU that came with my antec sonata II, its the 450Watt SmartPower 2.0. Do you think I'm ok here?

Gigabyte DS3
e6400
2X1gb OCZ PC6400 ram
evga 7900gs
2X sata HDD's
DVD burner
3 case fans

Thanks,

Foz

now what if I were to move to an 8800 in the near future? still ok? or am i pushing it

Its a 12V 220W psu, so all the current (18.3A) is on the 12V line. As most modern comps draw most power form the 12V line, its fine.

A small DC-DC converter takes care of the other voltages, but there is hardly a draw from that.

A friend of mine runs that same setup with an 8800GTS and an extra hard drive on a 380W PSU and has no problems (granted its a Seasonic S12..)
